HND fine art 2nd year student Roman Malinowski in front of his site-specific installation for the Saltley Baptist Church. Roman designed and produced seven paintings on plastic, acting like stained-glass windows, and five paintings on canvas which have all been installed in the church.
The transparent paintings depict the story of Genesis whilst the paintings on canvas illustrate episodes from significant texts provided by the pastor of the church.
The installation was unveiled following a special service at the church where the congregation could view the project for the first time.
