HND Fine Art students from both first and second year displayed their work at the mid-year exhibition, Entitled "Pioneers: Breaking Boundaries." The exhibition was extremely well attended and was thought to be one of the best mid-year shows of recent times due to the wide range of experimental work and high quality outcomes on display.
The two week experience at the gallery space giving the students a week to experiment with site-specific work and display methods and then requiring a professional exhibition proved enormously beneficial again. The event underlines the Outline philosophy of giving students experience in the real world working in the actual settings and circumstances that they will encounter as professional fine artists.
A huge well done to all the students who took part for their hard work in producing the work and the professional way in which they went about displaying the pieces to their best advantage.
